教材分析:
“You can play football well”是《新标准英语》第五册第六模块第一单元。本模块要让学生了解和学习有关评价,肯定和鼓励的表达法,是对以前学过的关于能力的相关知识的拓展和延伸。本单元通过Lingling加入足球队一事,让学生学会简单的自我评价和肯定与鼓励他人,进一步学会表达I can…well,You can…well.另外,在本课学习并运用几个新的动词短语,control the ball catch the ball.
学情分析:
五年级大部份学生以前学会了run fast jump high jump far play football play basketball play table-tennis等动词短语,由于长时间没有温故而新,部份学生已遗忘了,这给本课的学习带来一定的困难,需3—5分钟复习。我校学生没有踢足球的场地,但下周即将举行篮球赛,所以将Do you want to be in our football team?换成:Do you want to be in our basketball team?这样话题的选择更贴进学生的生活实际,学生的学习激情更高些。
教学目标:
1、情感目标
激发学生的学习兴趣,发展学生自主学习的能力,在真实的语境中培养学生良好的学习习惯。
2、认知目标
(1)能听懂会说一些有关体育运动的动词短语。
(2)能熟练掌握句型:“Can you…?”
并根据自己实际回答“Yes,I can.”或“No,I can’t”。能熟练运用句型:“I/You can…well.”
3、能力目标
培养学生间合作学习精神,培养学生用英语进行交流的能力。
教学重点:
灵活运用“Can you…?”及“主语+can+动词短语+well.
教学过程:
一、Warm up
1. Sing the song with the students.
2. Greetings .
3. Ask some students to do a game .

二、导入、呈现、学习新语言。
1.传球游戏
教师拿球问“Look. What’s this?” Let’s play a game. Who can catch my ball?/
Catch, catch ,catch the ball.如果学生几次都能很好地接住球,表扬You can catch the ball well.(板书)。让学生把球传给自己,接不住I can catch the ball badly.( 教授 授 catch, well, badly)
2. 课件出示 basketball team —football team图片 ( 教授 team )
3. 课件出示姚明:ask and answer : 引出句型。
He can play basketball well. He is good at basketball.
He can jump really high.
4. 出示贝克汗姆图片:—— He can control the ball well.( 教授 control )
5. Ask students to revise the new words together.
三、课文教学
1.播放动画视频。提出问题Does Lingling want to be in Amy’s football team ?
2. 把对话分成四段,结合课件,理解课文,一一突破重难点。
T: OK, now do you know Lingling can do in the football team ? Let’s look and listen.
