Step 1. Warming up

3.Play a game: What's missing?
Step 2.Pre- reading
1.Show some pictures on the screen, T introduce some places about Zhangjiajie to the Ss:Suoxi valley, Baofeng Lake, Jiutian caves, Mount Tianzi, Tianzi Waterfall.
2. Ss listen to the computer,and underline the words which they don't know .Then ask some students write the new mords on the Bb.
3.Read the new words after the teacher.
4.Play a game: High Voice and Low Voice.
Step 3 while -reading
1.First- reading
Ss listen to the computer again, and answer the questions:
(1) Where was Tim on Wednesday?
(2)Where was Tim on Friday?
Ss find the answers by themselves.Then T write the sentences on the Bb:
On_________, he went to the _________________.
He was at the _____________ on __________________.
2. Second - reading
(1) Ss read the paragraph after the tape loudly.
(2) Show a timetable about Tim on the screen, and ask the Ss finish yt by themselves.
(3) Check the answer together.
(4)Ss try to retell the story about Tim according to the timetable.
Step 4 Post -reading
Show some places on the screen, ask the Ss to use the pattern to practise.
