一、 教材分析

本单元的话题是Sb. like doing sth.。以日常生活习惯的情景展开导入生活习惯用语。由于话题贴近生活,语言情景真实,更易于激发学生学习的积极性,使学生能把知识迅速地、灵活地运用到现实生活中去。

二、 教学内容分析

Key Points: Master the Vocabulary “listening to music, watching TV,

riding my scooter, reading comic books”

Master the sentences “What do you like doing? I like ... ”

“Do you like …? Yes, I do. / No, I do.”

Difficult Points:

(1)Do you like…?句型是询问别人是不是喜欢干某事。

(2)What do you like doing?句型是询别人的爱好是什么?

(3)like后面可加动词的现在分词形式或者to +动词的原形。在本单元主要学习like +V-ing知识,表示为喜欢干某事。

(4)灵活运用以前学过的现在分词及短语,掌握并熟练运用本课学习的现在分词短语。

三、教学设计

Teaching aids: paper card, scooter, comic books, CAI...

Teaching idea: 本单元谈论的话题是围绕了解或谈论个人和他人的爱好为主线,内容贴近生活。因此课堂中主要采取情景教学和活动教学的模式进行授课。利用直观教学法,运用动作配合语言指令教授新词,掌握句型。

四、教学过程

Step 1: Warming up---Free talk

T: Boys and girls, can you guess what am I doing?

Ss: swimming, reading, writing…

T: Good job, let’s do the action and sing a song.

T & Ss: I like painting, I like running. I like studying, I like shopping. I like reading, I like swimming. I like dancing, I like them all.

(write down some “V-ing” on the board)

T: Look at the board, painting, studying, shopping and so on. They are hobbies.

“Hobby” means sb. like doing sth. very much.

For example: I like swimming.

T: Can you tell me what’s your hobby?

Ss:…

T: Ok! I have knew about you, do you want to know about me?

Ss: Yes!

T: I have four hobbies. I do some action, you guess. Ok?

Step 2: Presentation

Ⅰ.According to the “V-ing” lead in the new phrase.

T: (Do the action “listening to music”)

Ss: listen to music

T: Are you sure? Let’s check! ( click the screen)

T: That’s right! Look at this one!

listen + ing = listening listening to music

Ⅱ.Lead in the sentence “What do you like doing? I like ...”

T: I like listening to music .

Ss: I like listening to music .

T: What do you like doing? (point to the sentence“I like listening to music .”)

Ss: I like listening to music .

S1: What do you like doing?

S2: I like listening to music …

Ⅲ.Using the same method teach other phrase (watching TV, riding my scooter, reading comic books) and write them on the blackboard. After that, look at the screen, group a ask, group b answer.

Ⅳ. Lead in the sentence“Do you like …? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.”

T:I want to know about your hobby, can you do the action, let me guess?

Ss: Yes! ( S1 does some action)

T: Do you like watching TV ?

S1: Yes, I do.

T: Can you ask your classmate?

S1: Yes! Do you like … ?

S2: No, I don’t. Do you like … ?

S3:…(practice with partner)

V.Lead Ss to summary: The V-ing by “like” and the Verb how to be a gerund. Teacher summarize after then.

Step 3: Practice

I.Writing

a) Have Ss write some hobbies in the paper card.

For example:

Hobbies:

I like running, singing ,

listening to music and reading comic books.

What do you like doing?

Do you like watching TV?

Let’s be good friends.

b) Display of students’ answer.

II.Make a calling card

a) Finish the calling card

For example:

Name: I am Jenny.(write your Chinese name or English name)

Age : I am 10.

Add: I study in Duruan Primary School.

b) Open the calling card to make friends in the class, to tell your friend about your hobbies.

Step 4: Homework

I. To get ready others vocabulary and how to change others person in the sentence.

Ⅱ。Design your calling card and make friends with each other.
