教学目标：
词汇
a. 复习序数词及其缩写形式：first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth.
b.复习有关表情的词：happy, angry, tired, sad, scared, proud.
复习句型
a. where does Miss Gao Live? On the 10th floor.
b. who is happy? The monkey is happy.
c. I’m tired. He/she is sad.
教学重点：
继续学习字母组合ar, er, ir, or, ur, ph, th, 及其在单词中的发音。
教具准备：
序数词、有关表情的词
录音带，录音机。
教学过程：
一、教学热身
1、唱英文歌曲：A happy song
2、学说课本第十三页的Chant: Seasons播放第一遍录音，学生打开课文第十七页，边听边指。教师问：How many years are there in a year?帮助学生复习season, spring, summer, fall, winter.接着带读 The first season is Spring. The second season is summer. The third season is fall. The fourth season is winter. 四个句子。
再次播放，听音跟读，提醒学生注意模仿语音语调。
全班朗读，鼓励学生配上相应的动作，以加深记忆。
二、复习序数词及有关句型
1、出示序数词及缩写形式的卡片，学生说出相应的英语单词，然后再要求学生按顺序说出 first 至 tenth.
2、今天有位小朋友要去拜访Miss Gao, Miss Yang, Mr. Wang及他们的朋友Bill, Nancy等。引导学生看图。教师说：假如你是这位小朋友，你该怎么问能找到Miss Gao呢？接着出示问句并说：Where does Miss Gao live?（板书）叫一位学生答出：On the 10th floor.（板书）
3、教师带读句型：Where does Miss Gao live ? On the 10th floor.
叫几位学生扮演那位小女孩，用问句：where does … live? 询问，其他学生抢答，哪一组扮演得好，抢答快的学生多，哪一组就加分。
三、复习表情的词及有关的句型
1、教师把有关表情的卡片发给学生，请一个学生说出单词，手里拿到相应单词的学生把卡片举起并拼读出来，然后说，如： I’m sad . 全班学生指着他或她说：He / She is sad .照此法可练习二、三遍，尽可能让多数学生参加。
2、完成课本第十九页的看图回答问题。 教师用问句：What animals cam you see in this picture? 指导学生看图。然后问：Who is happy/angry/hungry/tired/scared/sad?
让学生进行抢答，哪个同学回答得快又准，哪组就加分。接着可小组间、同桌间进行操练。
最后要求学生编Chant, 如：Who’s happy ? The monkey is happy.
Who’s angry ? The tiger is angry.
Who’s hungry? The lion is hungry.
Who’s tired ? The bear is tired.
Who’s scared? The rabbit is scared.
Who’s sad ? The crocodile is sad.
四、语音教学。
1、教学字母组合ar, er, ir, or, ur 的发音，尽量让学生读出后面的例词归纳出其中的发音，并告诉学生这几个音都是元音。
2、教学字母组合th的发音，告诉学生th的发音有两种，教师可作发音示范让学生尽量模仿准确，告诉学生这两种音都是辅音。
3、听音跟读例词。
五、课后作业
1、听音跟读本课的内容。
完成《一册通》上本课的练习。
复习Lesson1-4, 跟读录音、拼读单词表中的单词。
