教学目标:

1、能够听懂、会说“What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays?I often do homework、read books and watch TV,并能在情景中运用。

2、能够完成let’s check部分,对本单元的学习进行阶段性评价。

教学重点:

掌握句型:What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays? I often do homework, read books and watch TV. 要求学生能在真实情景中运用。

教学难点:

正确运用所学的词组和句型谈论学习和生活实际情况。同时let’s try 内容较多,教师要注意引导学生仔细看图,细听录音。

教具准备:

单词卡片、周末活动的照片、录音机。

预习提纲:

引导学生使用第四课时学习的单词和和句型:What do you do on Saturdays ? I often read books.并结合周末活动的照片复习四会单词和词组。

教学过程:

一、温故知新。

小组内汇报日常口语练习,评选最佳优胜奖,内容如下

A、What do you have on Mondays ?

B、I have math on Mondays . What do you have on Tuesdays?

C、I have art on Tuesdays . What do you have on Wednesdays?

……

A、What do you do on Saturdays ?

B、I often do homework .

……

二、新课呈现

Let’s try

1、出示本课时let’s try 部分的挂图,让学生根据挂图说一说这些人物的周末活动,将听与说相结合,适当降低let’s try 听力练习的难度。

2、学生听录音,完成听音圈图的练习,录音内容如下

(1)Mike: What do you do on Saturdays ?

Chen Jie: I often read books and watch TV.

Mike: Great!

What does Chen Jie do on Saturdays?

(2)John: What do you do on Sundays?

Mike: I often play football.

John: Me too.

3、在Let’s try部分听说感知新句型的基础上,教师让学生观看挂图并听录音,学习let’s talk部分的对话,由于学生已有一定的基础,在教学过程中可多引导他们进行替换关键词组造新句的练习。

4、学生听录音,跟读对话。

5、让学生拿出事先准备好的周末活动的照片,用let’s talk部分的对话,同桌之间结对交流,然后完成Pair work部分的问卷调查。谈论各自的周末活动。

教师播放录音,让学生按照录音内容做排序练习,对本单元的重要语言进行阶段性评价,录音内容如下

(1)Boy: What day is it today ?

Girl: It’s Tuesday.

(2)Girl: What do you have on Mondays ?

Boy: We have math, Chinese and music.

(3)Girl: What do you do on Saturdays ?

Boy: I often do my homework.

三、课堂小结

让学生总结谈论周末生活实际情况的句子,并朗读这些句子,如:What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays . I often do homework, read books and watch TV.

2、小组内继续交流本节课的重点句型。
