Spring Festival is Chinese festival.Thanksgiving is an American festival.Today we’ll talk about Thanksgiving.揭示课题,引出单词Thanksgiving教学。

1. 教师质疑:感恩节是美国非常盛大的节日。你想知道关于感恩节的什么知识呢?引导学生用特殊疑问词“when,what,how”造句提问。

2. 请学生利用课前收集的关于感恩节的资料,介绍感恩节的由来和美国人是如何度过感恩节的。

3. 点击课件,进入culture

教师利用课件介绍感恩节。

T: 美洲大陆上的移民们为了感谢在危难之时帮助、支援他们的印第安人,同时也感谢上帝对他们的恩赐,当年11月第四个星期四,将猎获的火鸡做成美味佳肴,款待印第安人,盛大的狂欢持续了三天,感恩节一直延续至今。

4. 点击课件,进入food

T: What do you have for Thanksgiving?

T: Mm. Turkey. It smells delicious.

T: (拿起单词卡片,帮助学生找发音规律,学会自读单词) T-U-R, tur, K-E-Y, key.(升降调操练单词)

5.依次教学corn, yams, pumpkin pie,复习fruit和vegetable

T: What else do we have for Thanksgiving? (学生说什么教什么)

T: We have corns. 课件出示单词morning,复习字母组合or的发音,再让学生尝试拼读新词corn,指名练读

Follow me , corn ↗, corn ↘. (利用手势1—5进行操练)

T: We have yams. (利用大小声操练)

(利用左右手操练corn和yams)

T: Now recite the words as quickly as you can . (让学生迅速记忆单词corn和yams)

T: We have pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Follow me, pump, kin, pumpkin, pumpkin pie.(利用拍手暂停进行操练)
