Step1 Everyday English and greetings
Sing a song:

What day is it today? (then sing the song: day)

Step 2 Revision
Say the rhyme:
Ss change the words and say the rhymes.
Ss read the Part A and B.
T gives the orders. Ss do and say: All right. T tells them “ok” is good too.

T gives them necessary review process.
5. Ss give the orders to teacher.

Step 3: Presentation
Teach the letter Oo
T writes the word mouth on the blackboard. Let Ss find out the letter o looks like the opening mouth.
Which word include the letter o, too?
Someone may say out the word: mango. And let Ss to conclude the pronounce of the letter: O
Read the letter.
Teach the letter PP
T takes out the card of small letter d , and say: Hello, everyone, I’m small letter “d”, Today My borther comes here, converse the small letter “d” Hi, Children, I’m small letter “p”, this is my good friend capital letter “P”
T pronounced /P/.
Distinguish the capital letter and the small letter.
Teach the letter Q q
T: This letter looks like letter “O” But here’s additional dot. Is this “O”
Ss: No.
T: This is “Q”
(2) Small letter “q” looks alike “p” . Let Ss think the way to remember. Distinguish the capital letter and the small letter.
(3) Think about the words with letter “q”
Step 4: Read after the tape
Ss read after the tape recorder.
