教学过程:
Step 1. Warm-up and preview
1) Free talk between teacher and students about things like or don‘t like.
2) Sing the song together
Hello, hello, how are you?
I can sing a rainbow.
3) Use ―magic bag‖ to review the contents of last lesson: I like… & I don‘t like.
Show the students ―a magic bag‖ (there are some things in it, for example: pictures, cards or toys in it.)
Ask individuals to take out the things from the bag, and if the thing he/she likes, he/she shall say: ―I like…‖; but if the thing he/she doesn‘t likes, he/she shall say: ―I don‘t like…‖
Step 2. Presentation
1) Put a happy face and a sad face on the blackboard.
2) Show them a doll and ask them ―Do you like dolls?‖ for several times, then say if they like the doll, they shall put up the happy face; but if they don‘t like the doll, put up the sad face.
Write down ―Yes, I do.‖ above the happy face and ―No, I don‘t.‖ above the sad face. Teach ―Yes,I do.& No,I don‘t.‖ these 2 sentences.
3) Show them some flash cards, use ―Do you like …?‖ to ask the whole class, and they use ―Yes,I do.& No,I don‘t.‖ to answer.
Then also use this structure to ask individuals, eg:
T: ―Do you like apples?‖ S: (if the student‘s answer is)―Yes, I do.‖
T: ―Here‘s an apple for you.‖(repeat it)
S: ―Thank you!‖
4) Context Key word
present. Show them a beautiful present and teach them ―present‖ this word.
Look the dialogue between Sam, Amy and Daming. Listen and read after it.
Divide the whole class into 3 groups, one to be Sam, one to be Amy and one to be Daming, make a dialogue like the context.
Step 3. Drills
1) Show them a form on the screen. (Suppose this form is for Amy.) Ask several students use ―Do you like …?‖ to ask Amy some questions, Amy will answer ―Yes,I do.‖ with a ―”or ―No,I don‘t.‖ with a ―”。
2) Ask them to practice with their partners. Each one would finish the printed form(A) by asking and answering: ―Do you like…? Yes,I do.& No,I don‘t.‖ Then draw ―”below the things they like and draw ―”below the things they don‘t like. Do you like…? dolls panda apple yellow Yes,I do. No, I don‘t. Purpose: Task-based teaching method is used here to develop students’ ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.
3) Make this form in a big piece of paper and put it on the blackboard, ask 2 students come to the blackboard and make a dialogue to finish the task.
Step 4. Summary
A chant for them like this: Doll, doll, dolls, I like dolls; Car, car, cars, I don‘t like cars.
Do you, do you do you like dolls? Yes, yes, I do. No, no, I don‘t. Ask the whole class to read the chant more and more quickly.
Step 5. Homework
Make a chant
Divide students into groups of six children. Ask them use the words and structures we have learnt to make a chant after class. Finish a survey by asking their family or friends after class.
