Step 1 Warm- up

1. Read after the tape : Let’s chant

2. Introduce Mike’s family.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Teach the letter of Hh and Ii.

Emphasize the sound of Hh.

2. Show up the word cards.

T: What’s this?

Oh, it’s a hamburger.

Listen to Let’s say and follow it.

3. Teach Let’s do.

Ask the students to find the rules of the letters in Let’s do.

S follow the tape .

4. Write the letter of Hh and Ii.

T tell the students how to write the letters properly and beautifully.

S practice them for two lines each in the exercise book.

教学反思:

本单元学习有关家庭成员的单词。由于部分单词同学们已有所接触,所以很快就会读。但对于举行“Who’s that …? & Who’s this…?”学生掌握得不是太熟练。我在上课时针对这一难点,我编成了一个chant,让学生边唱边练。“Who’s that woman? She’s my mother. Who’s that man? He’s my father. Who’s this boy? He’s my brother. Who’s this girl? She’s my sister.”从学生反馈的情况看来,他们能基本分清“woman”和“man”,“boy”和“girl”,但“this”和“that”就还是区分不清,要加强操练。
