Unit 6 Cooking Lesson 33 (the third class)

一、 教学目标:

1. 通过多种语言形式复习巩固Lesson31和Lesson32所呈现的单词及句型。

2. 让学生综合运用本单元的新语言。

二、 教学重点:

1. 运用重点词汇和语句与同伴进行交流。

2. 重点语句的认读和阅读理解。

三、 教学难点:

对烹饪动词的熟练运用和扩展。

四、 教学过程:

1.Review the new words and sentences of Lesson31 and Lesson32.

2.Part A Reading practice

I. Leading the students to describe the five actions as “Put the noodles into the water.”, “Boil the water.”, “Put the noodles in a bowl.”, “Add the pepper and salt.”

II. By reading the text, giving the number of each picture.

III. According to the text, circling the things which Tony needs to make this dish.

3.Part B Group work

I. Making a menu in group, and write down the recipe for the dish.

II. Showing and say:

One group: This is our recipe.

The others: What are you going to make?

O: We are going to make…

T: How do you make it?

O: First …, Second …

(Give a red flag to the group which is the best.)

4.Part C Let’s play (using the recipe we made in part B)

I. According to the step, divide the recipe into several.

II. Giving the right order of other group’s recipe.

5.Part D Group work

I. Each group need to find as many words as they can to cook a king of food.

Such as: We can eat, stir-fry, boil, cut, wash…tomatoes.

(Give a red flag to the group who did the best job.)

II. Let’s guess

The students will guess the verbs, while the teacher gives an action and describe. Before it, we will use the word “flip” instead of the action verbs.

Example: -- Do you flip the water? -- No.

-- Do you flip the apple? -- Yes.

-- Do you flip the tomato? -- Yes.

-- Cut! -- Right!
