一、Step1

1. Greetings :

T: Hello,everyone. Nice to see you!

How's the weather today? Do you know What is the second day of May?

S: Mothers' Day.

T: What gifts did you give to your mother? And what did you say to your mother?You can say them in English or in Chinese.

(设计理念:以母亲节为契机,引入gift这个单词,领读并板书。这样又易于理解这个单词的意思,同时把此单词放到课题中-----Gifts for everyone.)

二:Step2

T: Children's Day is coming,I want to give gifts to you.

(出示一个大包,内不状物品,并把它放在桌子上。)

Look! What is this? What colour is it?

S:It is your bag.It is ....

T:Do you like my bag? Where is my bag?

S:It is on the desk/table.

T:Where is the blackboard?

S:........

T:It is above the desk.

(设计理念:在这里暗示一下on和above 两个介词,以降低图7的难度。)

三、Step 3

1、What's in my bag?Can you guess?

(设计理念:以猜这种形式,展开复习。既调动学生参与的积极性,又让学生将一些可作礼物的单词在脑海中重现)

T:Look!Nothing is in my bag.

(设计理念:教师最后揭示谜底,打开包,原来什么都没有。给学生制造一个悬念,同时也为接下来理解buy----borght 这一组动词的过去时做准备。)

T:But why do I take the bag here? I want to buy gifts for you .(板书这句话,重点突出buy 这个单词。)

T: Do you want gifts?Wait for me! I go to a shop to buy gifts.
