教学过程:

一、Review

Review the main story together with the children. Encourage the children to role-play the story.

Read and check:

1. Have the children open their books tp page 24. draw the children’s attention to the top of the page. Explain to them that they are going to read about Sarah’s plans for the weekend, as she thinks of all the things she will do. Then they have to complete the chart by checking things she will and will not do.

2. Have the children read the text by themselves.

3. Read Sarah’s thought bubbles together. Make sure the the children understand the passage.

4. Now put the children into pairs to complete table. All the information they need is in the passage.

5. Check the answer in a class drill.

二、Write about your weekend

1. Now direct the children’s attention to the bottom half of the page. Tell the children they have to thing about their plans for the week. Have the children talk about what they will do and will not do at weekend.

2. Tell them they need to write three things they will do and three things they won’t do.

3. Put the children into pairs to complete their sentences.

4. Check their answers by asking chikdren to tell the class what they will do and won’t do at weekend.

Self-assessment:

1. Tell the chilren to look at the picture on the top of page 25. Explain that you want them to label all the music instruments in the picture.

2. put the children into pairs and have them label the instruments.

3. Check the answer in a class drill.

三、Reflection

1. Ask the children if they and their friends can play and musical instrument and what they play if they do.

2. Ask the children to reflect upon their study in this unit. Have them talk ahout what they learned in this unit.

3. Have the children complete the items in the reflection chad and then check their answers with each other.

四、Homework
