Warming up

Listen to a song : How much is the doggy?

[设计意图]这是课前热身环节,通过歌曲整体感知本课新句型How much……,提高学生对英语的兴趣,同时将学生思维带入英语的殿堂。此外,新课标一级目标要求学生能唱简单的英文歌曲,这也是新课标所倡导的理念。

Step1、Class opening and review

1. Greetings and free talk.

2. 游戏;帮图片回家。

[设计意图]师生对话,拉近师生距离,通过对话复习所学单词,相关句型,为新授知识做好准备。

Step 2、New Concepts

T:I like hamburgers. Do you like hamburgers?

S:Yes, I like hamburgers.

T:Okay !let’s go to the FKC.(课件展示KFC)She is a waitress. Do you have any hamburgers?

W:Yes, lots of hamburgers.

T:How much for one hamburger? We can also say :How much is the hamburger? W:Ten Yuan.

……

T:How much are the donuts?

W:_____ Yuan.

……

How much are/is the___?(由价格引出expensive . on sale)

[设计意图]教师示范到KFC里买东西,先用How much for one ___? 来提问价格,然后再用新句型How much is the ____? 来提问价格。使同学们明白这两句话的意思相同,以旧带新,在情景中区别运用How much is the ___? 和How much are the ___?在对话中明白expensive, on sale的意思。此外,我将课本内容做了拓展,加入了dollars,让学生感触西方文化。

[设计意图]在情景中操练句型,集看、听、说多种感官为一体,充分调动学生的能动性。教育学生少吃垃圾食品,注意健康饮食的良好生活习惯。
