指导思想:

《英语课程标准》提出:要改变英语课程过分重视语法和词汇知识的讲解与传授、忽视对学生实际语言应用能力的培养倾向,强调课程从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生综合语言的运用能力,使学生形成自主学习能力。所以,在本课时的教学活动中,我采用任务型教学模式,情景交际教学模式,把词汇和功能句的学习放在情景交际中,用比较真实的任务(询问运动计划等),调动学生自主学习的热情,给与学生自主学习语言和运用语言的时间和空间。

教材分析:

《Choosing a gift》是北师大版小学英语六年级上第四单元的教学内容。本单元是以Ken。 Ann and Sue 到商店为Daniel挑选生日礼物为主要背景,通过对商品价格的询问,表达个人对物品的选择观点。

本课是第二课时。学生通过第一课时的故事学习已经能够初步理解和认读I prefer these. Those cost 35$.等购物所需要的语言, 初步了解了可以用“I prefer these.”来表达自己对物品的观点。在四年级是已经学习过用How much is (are)„„? It’s 35 $.来表达或学问回答物品的价钱,本节课的另一个重要结构就是物品价钱的另一种表达方式,学生理解起来不难,只需要加强语言的读说训练即可。

本课时主要完成四个板块的学习:“Talk together”, “Listen to this”, “Check the correct answer”, 和“complete the dialog”。

“Talk together”板块中呈现的词汇可分为两类,第一类是学生已经掌握了的运动的词汇,不做重点操练,能在交际中运用即可。第二类是本课重点操练词汇,要求学生能够听说读写这类词汇,并能在交际中灵活运用。

“Listen to this”板块中主要注重对学生听力方法的培养。

“Check the correct answer”板块是通过具体的手指的方向帮助学生理解this/these, that/those 之间的区别,在通过选择正确的选项练习来帮助学生巩固这一知识难点。

“complete the dialog” 与本节课内容衔接很紧密,不仅是对学生的听、读、写三方面的综合练习,而且它还创设了一个简单的购物情景,为学生说的练习提供了一个很好的范本,因此,我把它提到了本节课来完成。

学生分析:

学生字一年级和四年级是都学习过了大量的有关衣服的词汇,对物品价格的表达也在四年级学习过用How much is (are)„„? It’s 35 $.来表达或学问回答物品的价钱,本节课的另一个重要结构就是物品价钱的另一种表达方式。对于表达自己或他人对物品的观点,前面也学过含有like, favorite等词汇的句型结构,本节课学习的是用prefer来表达在两者之间更喜欢那个。应该说本节课的两个主要结构,学生理解起来都不难,只需要加强语言的读说训练即可。

教学方式:

通过用大量的ppt展示能够作为礼物的图片(主要一服装为主)进行语言输入,再围绕这些服装展开交际活动,询问和回答你更喜欢那一个,价钱是多少,最后利用小组合作学习,进行情景交际的方式作为语言的输出。

教学手段:

创设多个真实情景与任务,培养学生对新旧知识进行整合,主动建构,积极使用所学英语进行表达和交流的习惯;培养学生自主学习的能力。

过程与方法

1、通过大量口语交际让学生在实际语言运用过程中感受功能句型的语境;

2、通过教师的支持,使学生具备一定的自主学习的能力和方法;以任务型教学模式为驱动,通过视听、示范、置疑、创设语境等方法,通过师生互动、生生互动,对学生的听、说、读、写等语言技能进行训练和提高;

3、合理运用多媒体,创设直观、高效的教学效果。

情感、态度

培养学生做事有计划的意识。

1、掌握本课中出现的服饰方面的词汇。

教学过程:

Ⅰ、Warming up

1. Play a guessing game. Show the letter s and have the children guess. (sweater shirt, socks, skirt, scarf„) Look at the letters and guess “What clothes? 帮助学生回忆学过的有关服装类的词汇, 适当的扩充相关词汇。

2.T:Now let’s see all the clothes. Please read them one by one. (Show the words of clothes.) Read the words one by one. 帮助学生回忆学过的有关 服装类的词汇。

3.T: Last class, We have leant a new story with Unit 4 choosing a gift. Do you remember some information?

Let’s go over the story. Give some questions for the children.

a. Who are in the story? T: Ann, Ken and Sue want to buy a gift for Daniel.

b. Where are they now for choosing a gift? T: Explain the shopping mall.

c. What gifts do they Read the story and answer the questions.

Ss: They are Ann, Ken, Daniel and Sue

回忆故事的大概情节,熟悉本节课要讨论的话题,为后面的结构操练创设情景,做好铺垫。 帮助学生复习上节课的故事情节,引出并学习本节课的教学重点词汇及句式。choose?

设置情景,布置人物。 操练Which sunglasses do you prefer?句型。 通过大量的同桌练习,帮助学生真正的学会表达自己的对物品的观点。

Do exercise check the correct answer. 运用一个具体的专项练习,真正 的帮助学生理解、体会,并且在 实际生活中会运用these , those,this and that,以及了解他们的区别。

3.Talk together

模仿句型的正确发音。 处理询问价格的另一种表达方法,帮助学生掌握多种表达方法, 从而为后面的创编对话练习做好铺垫。

T: Look at these pictures, all of the children are choosing some things, let’s guess, what are they talking?

b. Check the answers and read the sentences. Talk about these pictures. Listen and match Check the answers. 在做听力之前先让学生讨论一下图片要表示的大概意义,可以培养学生在听之前认真观察图片的听音策略。

培养学生通过阅读,推断的能力,这也是阅读的一种策略。在通过听音来检查所填答案的正确性,既订正了答案,有培养了学生的听力策略(抓关键词)。

在此处理一段有关购物的对话,也为后面的学生创编对话提供了很好的范例。

V. Make a dialog.

T: Ok children, now, we can finish our task.

此环节让学生自己创编一段完整的购物对话,是知识的综合运用和输出,培养学生说的能力,直接让学生做有一定的困难,因此,在此我给学生提供了一些语言 支持。

本次作业,我围绕本课教学内容,设计了两项作业,一项抄写类作业,每个学生必做,目的是为了巩固本节课的重点,还有一项是开放性的作业,学生可以选做。
