Step 1 Warming-up

1. Greeting

2. T: Today we' ll learn a new lesson: Unit 5 It's cold in winter.

Step 2 Presentation

1. T: What's the weather like in spring?

Ss: It's rainy in spring..

T: Is it rainy in fall? No, it's not. It's windy.

T: What's the weather like today?

Ss: It's sunny and hot.

(引出学习单词) spring, summer, fall, winter, sunny, rainy, windy, cloudy

2.利用卡片操练 What's the weather like in spring/summer/fall/winter?

It's rainy/cloudy/sunny / windy.

3. Group work.

4. 游戏复习单词。

5、滚雪球操练单词,打开课本听录音跟读,然后四人小组学习

6. Ask and mark.

Step 3 Let's sing a song : “I like science.”

屏幕显示歌词,带读一次,让学生了解歌词。听录音跟唱。

Step 4 Homework

1.听录音跟读3-5遍(家签)

2.回家用英语向家人或朋友介绍四季的情况。
