教学步骤:

1. Review.

a. Review the story together. Pay more attention to the sentences that start with “wh-”。

Then do some exercise about the usages of “wh-”。

b. Review words that appear in the text.

2. Present.

a. New words. Show pictures of “football, basketball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, volleyball”。 Learn the new words. At the same time learn the expression of ”play football/basketball… ” Give students 3 minutes to remember the new words then check.

b. Talk together Draw students’ attention to the picture on top of page29. Tell them Jean and Ken are talking about favorite sports. Ask them to read the dialogs by themselves, then answer questions about the dialogs. Finally learn the dialog together. After that, read the dialog after teacher. Then read the dialog by different roles.

3. Consolidation

a. Discuss in groups about students favorite sports, and when/where they do;

b. Make dialogs about aboved information.

c. Complete the sentences.

4. Homework

Interview your friends about their games they play, where they play and when they play.
