一. Warm-up

1. Free talk:(上课铃打响后)

T: Look at the clock. What time is it?

S1: It’s 10:00.

T: It’s time for ….

Ss: It’s time for English class.

T: Yes, It’s time for English class. Are you ready?

Ss: (启发学生回答)Yes, I’m ready.

(设计意图:运用上英语课这个真实的情景在轻松自然中渗透了这个Let’s talk中的第三个片段,真实体现一个学习的过程,也为下面的教学作铺垫)

2. Let’s chant:

T: Class, today let’s divide into 2 groups. One is Time To Group, the other is Time for Group. Let’s see who will be the winner today. First, let’s have a chant competition. Group 1 when you see Time to…,you stand up and chant. Group 2, when you see Time for…, you stand up and chant. Let’s see who can chant better? Are you ready?

1. Let’s talk

⑴ talk about the pictures

T:(出示课文挂图,把句子内容遮住)Today we’re going to talk about Mike’s timetable. Look at Picture One, where is Mike? At home or at school ?Can you guess what time is it?让学生猜测\回答问题.

Look at picture two, what time is it? And It’s time to…

Look at picture three, is mike still at home? Can you see the clock on the wall? What time is it? And it’s time for…

⑵Let’s watch TV twice, try to find out the answers.

(1)学生两人一组,一人拿时间卡片,一人拿单词卡片。俩人每人抽一张卡片,根据卡片的内容造对话:

S2:Yes.

S1: What time is it?

S2: It’s 7:00.

S1: It’s time for English.

S2: No. It’s time for breakfast.

b.通过上面的拓展活动,教育学生合理安排时间,在适当的时间做合理的事情。

四、Sum-up

教后反思:

1. 本课时教学目标明确,整节课能围绕教学目标进行设计和教学,能达到预设的教学目标,而且重难点突出。

2. 能够运用多种教学手段,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,比如自编的Chant和多媒体课件等等。

3. 老师在课堂上使用采用多种的评价方式:自评、学生间互评、老师评、小组评等等。努力让学生参与到课堂教学中,学生的学习兴趣十分浓厚,十分愿意参与课堂的学习。

4. 注意渗透24小时制的英语常识。

5. 老师在以后的教学中应该培养学生做笔记的习惯,为以后的教学做准备。

6. 老师应该帮助学生简单归纳It’s time to /for ….的区别。同时应该向学生渗透:It’s time for school和 It’s time to go to the playground 。
