Step One Revision

1. Pair work:

A: What’s that?

B: It’s a pink mirror.

A: Is that a yellow pillow?

B: No, it isn’t. It’s a white pillow.

2. Revise the spelling of the new words had learned before.

Step Two Presentation

1. Pass out some of the Picture Cards. Have Ss hold up their cards and ask them questions about their cards.

T: What’s that? It’s a brown door. Is that a black lamp? Yes, it is.

2. continue asking other Ss about their Picture Cards.

3. Read and spell the new words: brown, black, white, lamp, door, clock , then repeat after the tape.

Step Three Practice 3.

Play the tape of Target and pause after each sentence so can repeat.

4. Play the tape of Practice One , Ss write the numbers in the box, then check the answer together.

5. Play the tape of Practice Two and have Ss answer the questions.

6. Get Ss to ask these four questions to other Ss in small groups.

7. Play the tape of the chant, Ss chant after the tape.

8. Divide Ss into groups. One group chants the questions and other group chants the statements. S

Say out the difference between “ What’s this?” and “What’s that?” Then put several objects on a table, have Ss ask and answer in pairs.
