Step1 Revision

Ss read the words.(bean\ cabbage\ onion\ mushroom\ potato.)

Ss read the story after the tape.

Step2 Words to learn

1 T: Guess, what vegetables are these?

“They red, they are round. (tomatoes) What vegetables are red? (peppers) Ss read the words.

T: They are round, they are green,

what are they? (cabbages)

What vegetables are also green?

(cucumbers) Ss read the words.

T: They are round, they are purple,

what are they?

What vegetables are also purple? (eggplants) Ss read the words.

Ss open the books at page 16.

Read the new words after the tape.

Ss read the words in pairs.

Step3 Listen to this

Ss listen and number. T checks their answers.

Step4 Games

T covers a picture, “what are these?” “Are these …?”

Ss use their cards, play the guessing game.

Step5 Let’s sing

T plays the tape, Ss listen and follow.
