课前准备:

课本,录音机,挂图,实物。

教学过程:

Step1 Revision

Ss sing the song “Yes, they are tomatoes”

Ss talk about “What vegetables do you like?”

in pairs.

Step2 Talk together

1 Show the picture on page18.

T: What can you see? Ss look and answer.

T: What do you want to know?

T plays the tape, Ss listen and answer

“Whose rooms is this?”

Ss look at the books, point and repeat.

One of the Ss who can read the dialogue reads any sentence, the others listen and number. Then all of them read the dialogue.

Ss do pair work.

T show a picture (There are some toys, books, CDs, fruit, vegetables), the picture is covered.

T: This is my table, there are lots of things on it, do you want to what are they? You can ask me.

Ss try to ask: what are they? Are those …?

Step3 Listen and number

Have the children look at the pictures and say the words. Play the tape, Ss touch the picture; play the tape again, Ss number, then say their answers.

Step4 Read and match

Have the children open their books at page 20.Draw their attentions to the pictures and words at the bottom of the page.

Ss point to the words and read, then point to the pictures and read.

Draw a line from the words to the pictures.

Step5 Let’s chant

T: Where are the children? What can you see?

Play the tape. Ss listen to the chant.

Ss repeat. Ss say the chant together.
