A. Free talk and revision

1 Say a rhyme “A clock”

Talk freely with some students: What time do you go to school/have lunch

/go home/watch TV ...

T: I get up at half past six. What time do you get up?

S1: I get up at ...

3  T: What time is it/What’s the time? (Show some times )

A.  3:30  4:30  11:30  8:30

B.  2:15  5:15  12:15  9:15

C.  6:45  8:45   1:45  7:45

D.  9:10  9:50   3:05  3:55

学生看着教师出示在卡片上的时间,进行个别表达,再一起表达:Ss : It‘s ...

(让学生再次归纳出单词to, past 的正确用法)

B. Presentation and practice

1 出示P54图片2, 4, 7

T: What time is it?

S1: It’s...

接着教师可引导学生说出: It‘s time to...

此时教师可用: It’s time for ...句型加以替换 。 为接下来的学习做铺垫 。
