教材分析:
本课的内容是冀教版小学英语第七册第一单元 Lesson3 Making Breakfast。本册讲述李明来到加拿大学习英语,和Jeny一家住在一起,并接触了加拿大的饮食文化,学校教育,及民族风情。本单元的主题是李明来到加拿大,和我们一起学习一些有关家庭用品,房间及家务的词汇。在本课中复习了喜欢吃什么句型和厨房里的用具。
学情分析:
学生对本课第一部分内容已经相当熟悉,因此应把重点放在第二部分的学习和练习上。在教学中采用情境教学法,让学生在实践中体会学习英语的乐趣,在多说、多练、多做做学会口语传递信息,提高学习效率,同时增进对西方文化的理解。
教学目标:
1. 知识:学生可以读、写、说出并且听懂名词:refrigerator, stove, sink; 及物动词cook, make.
2. 能力:温故知新,加强知识的联系性;提高学生综合、实际运用所学知识的能力。
3. 情感:激发学生学习英语的兴趣;教育学生不要挑食,养成良好的饮食习惯,并且要做一个懂礼貌的好孩子。
教学重点:
学生对本课重要概念refrigerator, stove, sink, cook, make的掌握。
教学难点:
对知识的综合、实际运用。

教学过程:
Step 1 Class Opening and Review
1、Greeting
2、Sing a song: It’s time for breakfast.
3、Review
(1)提问时间,让学生根据实际回答;然后让生生之间就时间随意问答。
(2)做出相应的动作,让学生猜是什么房间,并大声说出这个单词。同时用句型复习bathroom, kitchen, living room, bedroom.
(3)a. 用卡片与学生一起复习所学过的食物的单词。
b. Play “Draw and Guess” to review foods the students mastered in Level 1.
Step 2 Presentation
一、Teach the new words “
refrigerator , stove and sink “
1、Using questions and answer to demonstrate these words :
T : What is cold ? (Hold up your vocabulary card for refrigerator .) Is a refrigerator cold ?
S : No. .
T : Is this cold ? (Hold up the card for stove )
S : No, it’s hot. .
T : Yes ! A stove is hot . say it , please .
S: A stove is hot.
T : What has water ? Does a stove have water ?
S : No. .
T : Does a sink have water ?
S : Yes. .
T : Very good . A sink has water .
2、Play “ Simon says “ to practice the new words .
3、Ask the students to come to the front to read .
二、Teach make and cook
We learned the words of the kitchen . Now let’s make breakfast .
1、Ask the students to make sentences using “ make ”
2、Explain “ cook ”
T : Now what do you want to cook ! Read a few times .
( Explain “ cook ” always implies heating food . When you use a stove , you always “ cook ” )
三、在黑板上板书所学过的句型,用卡片进行教授。
1、What would you like for breakfast?
I would like a, an /some ____.
2、Drills: 通过随意抽取卡片,让男孩女孩相互问答练习本课句型。
3、Play a game: 请自告奋勇的学生上到讲台抽卡片,告诉全班同学他/她吃什么早餐。
四、Study the dialogue
回顾故事情节。Ling Ming 来到加拿大和Jenny一家住在一起,看《教科书》中的图画,他们正在干什么?
注意本课中mine和yours. Jenny在哪说这些词?为什么?
1、Demonstrate the dialogue .

2、Listen to the tape and think over these questions .

④Where do we wash dishes ?
⑤What’s meaning of “ mine ” and “ yours ”
3、Ask the students to read the dialogue and discuss the questions
4、Ask them to answer the questions .
5、Role-play the dialogue .
Step 3 Consolidation
1、Make a dialogue .
Divide the class into small groups . Ask each group to make up a dialogue about a meal in a kitchen . Encourage the students to have fun and use as much vocabulary as possible from this unit .
2、Ask them to present .
(设计意图:把全班分成若干小组。让每组以在厨房做饭为内容自编对话。鼓励学生玩的高兴,同时是他们尽量多地使用本单元的词汇,并培养了学生的合作精神。)
Step 4 Summary
Today we learned a dialogue about making a meal in a kitchen . Please tell your parents the name of the kitchen’s objects .

Draw a picture of their kitchen . Write the words beside each room . Then try to write some sentences like the text.
