教学过程:

1.Let's chant!

How do you go to school? By bus, by bus.

How do you go to school? By bicycle, by bicycle.

How do you go to school? By car, by car.

How do you go to school? On foot, on foot.

2.Play "Happy Face ,Sad Face" with the quiz in the student book from the last lesson.Read out each question.Then ask for volunteers to give an answer and stand under the happy face or sad face.

3.Play"Secret Word"with the story from the last lesson(Maddy the Monstre).Stop the audiotape and change the secret words from time to time.

4.Play"Number Me". (A card game to review heights, ages and addresses.)

Divide the class into small groups.Each group uses a set of flashcards for the numbers 1 to 100.Each player needs a sheet of paper with four questions written across the top:

How old are you?

How tall are you?

What is your address?

Where do you live?

Read these words on the small blankboard together, then ask the Ss to spell these words. Make sure they can say it correctly.

Divide Ss into groups of four children. Play“Memory card”.

Ss like to talk using as much English as possible.
