设计意图:通过师生间的闲谈和吟唱歌谣等热身活动迅速地引导学生进行角色转变,走进英语世界。并且通过这些学生喜闻乐见的形式复习旧知从而为接下来的新课教授做好铺垫。另外,师生之间通过free talk能够有效地将所学的英语知识运用于实际生活中,营造一个良好的用英语的氛围,让学生在一个自然的环境中学英语、用英语。

4.2.1 Let’s start

Students say the sentences follow teacher.

4.2.2 Learn to say the new word.

4.2.2.1Teach the word: purple.

Teacher takes out a purple pencil and color the clown’s nose purple. T: Look at the clown. This is a purple nose.

4.2.2.2Teach the words “blue”, “green”, “red’ and “yellow” in the same way.

设计意图:把颜色类单词与上一单元的身体部位单词结合起来教学,这样学生既不会感到枯燥,又串联了知识点。特别是利用小丑的头像和涂色的方法进行教学,学生特别感兴趣,学习积极性很高,教学效果好。
