教学过程:

一、Class Opening and Review

1. GREETING

2. PLAY “LETTERS”

Write the blanks for the sentences on the blackboard.

a. The tiger is in front of the wolf.

b. The monkey is inside the lion.

c. The monkey is in the tree.

d. The elephant is behind the tree.

e. The wolf is outside the school.

Ask for volunteers to guess letters for the blanks. Write correct guesses in the blanks and incorrect guesses under the blanks. If the student needs help, ask the class to help. If the student says an incorrect sentence, continue playing until someone recognizes the sentence.

二、 New Concepts

Point to each picture as the teacher and the class say the words a

Discuss the pictures.

a. What colour is the giraffe?

b. Have you ever seen a panda?

c. What sound do you think a snake makes?

d. Does a zebra have stripes?

Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books.

2. CHANT

Use the new vocabulary in the chant they learned in the Lesson27.

Add other animals the students already know. Hold up vocabulary cards to tell the students what animal to name.

After a few repetitions, ask volunteers to lead the chant.

3. STUDENT BOOK L29 N2

Introduce the sentence: Where does live ? Show the students how to substitute different words in the structure.

Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books.

Point to the pictures in the student book and say the sentences with the students a few times.

4. PRACTICE

Write Where does a live? In a . on the blackboard.

Ask the students to write this sentence on their papers. Ask for volunteers to read their sentences.
