第一课时

教材分析

这是PEP小学英语六年级上册的最后一个阅读单元,围绕自然界中水的循环过程及植物的种植过程展开语言学习。涉及的内容比较抽象,教学中除了引导学生结合生活经验去理解、掌握和学习语言知识,会表述语言,老师还应使他们懂得水资源很宝贵,要节约用水。本课是第一课时,能否有效引出后面的内容,这一课至关重要。因此,教师应该由浅入深,注重多种教法的运用,抓住重点,突破难点,为以后教学打下良好基础。

教学目标及分析

1、学生能听、说、读、写A Let’s learn中黑体单词rain cloud stream sun ,能听、说、认读vapour。

2、学生能就水的循环过程进行简单的问答,并能听、说、认读、

教学重难点:

本课教学重点是四会单词,句子的掌握,难点是对水循环过程的正确表达。

教学准备:录音机、单词卡,水循环示意课件

教学过程:

Step1: Warming-up exercises

1、口语表述:

What day is it today? How do you go to school today ?

What’s the weather like today?

Do you like rainy days? Do you like sunny day ?

What do we need everyday ? (Food air water sleep.)

Where does water come from?(引导学生说It comes from rivers seas rain icesnow lake)

2、课件展示书上68页歌谣,学生欣赏并跟着吟唱

First the sea,

Then the sun,

Next the clouds,

The rain has fun!

First the rain,

And then the sea,

Next the sun,

Then clouds over me!

Step2:Presentation

1、接着利用课件,教师提问,“Children, water comes from rain. But can you tell me, where does the rain come from? Does it come from sky?”画出雨的简笔画,板书rain,学生思考后回答: cloud
