㈠ Warming-up
1.Review the words about colours：red、green、black …
2.Sing a song《Please stand up》, sing and do the action.
㈡ Presentation
Teacher show a pencil, ask “What’s this?”Let students answer “pencil”. Teacher ask again“How many?”Teacher show seven pencils and ask：“How many?”Help students understand the mean of “How many?”and let them answer in Chinese. Then teacher say：“How many pencils? Let’s count!”let student count the pencils.
㈢ Teaching the new text
1.Teacher write the numbers“one”to“eight”on the blackboard when students count. And read for them.
2.Study the words about“one”to“eight”.
3.Listen and show.
4.Look and say.
5.Listen and repeat.

1.Play a game《Look, say and point》.

3.Play a game《Do and say》：One student do the action and ask：“How many?”The other one answer.
