教学过程

1Warm-up/Revision

(1)师生之间互相打招呼,与学生进行日常对话。

(2) Find out the differences of the words.

The teacher is going to write pairs of words on the board. The teacher is going to say the words and the students have to listen to carefully and decide which words the teacher is saying.

设计意图:英语教学应注重知识的积累与复现,因此我们提倡教学以旧带新.因此在本环节中我利用magic eyes的游戏对本课将要用到或可能用到的同类词进行复习,帮助孩子巩固旧知,唤醒对知识记忆。

2. Presentation

(1) The teacher says:

Lots of English words’ pronunciations are very similar. So it’s easy to make mistakes with English. (learn the word “mis-take=mistake”and the sentence:It’s easy to make mistakes with English.).When we make mistakes, people will laugh ,( 教授单词laugh),because they don’t understand us(教授此单词)

(2) The teacher finds one student to help her.(让学生站在教室前面做大笑的动作,问)What’s the matter ?Why are you laughing ?(教授这两个句型,然后引导学生回答 I’m happy.)

(3) 老师给更多的学生卡片,让学生根据卡片的内容做相应的动作,练习下列句型(sleeping--tired running--afraid crying--sad laughing—happy)

A: What’s the matter?

Why are you….?

B: I’m….

【设计意图】师生间的自由会话,可以让学生很快英语学习的氛围中,渐渐地用英语进行思维,而通过询问学生是否喜欢玩具娃娃及相应的歌曲,过渡到教师自己也喜欢歌曲,并且喜欢“What’s the matter?”这首歌,并由此导入本课的课题,很自然的为新内容的学习做好认知准备。

(4)让学生自己做任意的动作,小组练习以上句型。

3.新课学习

T:We know lots of English words’ pronunciations are very similar. So we are easy to make some mistakes . And there is the same joke in today’s text. Now let’s look at it together.

(1)Let the students read the text by groups.Then answer the question:

What joke is there in this text?

(2) Listen ,point and underline the new words and sentences in this text. [设计意图]这两个主要句型从表面形式上看学生难以理解,多媒体课件克服了这个难点,让学生更为直观、准确、有效地理解了对话的含义,学生能够更容易掌握并且投入。先让学生认真看和听,让他们在初步感知理解的基础上,在听、观看的同时进行跟读训练,让学生在情景中学习本课时的新句型并加以操练,体现了教师对学生进行全方位能力培养的观点与意识。

(3)Listen and repeat (听录音跟读)

(4)Let the students read the text.Then answer these questions.

What are they going to do?

Why are they laughing?

4. Practice (巩固练习)

(1)Let the students read the text themselves.

(2) Let the students use the cups and caps to act the text out.

[设计意图]评价贯穿本节课的始终,在各个环节中主要是在棋盘上走棋的方法,最后对此进行统计;还根据教学内容,对最后的任务进行评价,评选出最佳设计奖若干。设计课后听读及拟订计划,加强学生课后的复习与巩固。
