Step 1 Warming up:

Greetings.

Song: Are you sleeping?

Step 2 Presentation and drill

1. Show a picture of a school.

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a school.

T: Where are you now?

Ss: How do you come to school? By bus/ car/ on feet/ …?

T: I walk to school.

Teach: walk.

2. Show a toy dog.

T: The dog is going. The dog is coming. The dog is staying. The dog is standing.

Let Ss read after teacher.

3. let a student act as a dog.

T: hi, little dog, where are you going?

S: I’m going to school / …

4. Learn Part B.

5. Listen to the tape (Part A, B), read after the tape.

Step 3 Practice

1. Group in four act the Part A.

2. Game: A little actor.

Let a student come to the front and act Part B. others describe.
