Step 1 Warm-up

1. Sing a song: A B C

2. Free talk with your friends: S1: Where are you from?

S2: I’m from ……

3. Introduction: I’m a … I’m a boy/ a girl. I’m from…

Step 2 Presentation

1. Present the word “teacher”。

a. Teacher introduces herself: Hello, I’m Miss Tang. I’m a teacher. I’m from…

b. Guessing game: Teacher shows some pictures of the teachers. T: Who is he/she? Ss: He/ she is …teacher.

c. Ss learn the new word, and practice.

Show up the cards of teacher and student.

T: Look at the teacher. Who’s it? He’s Mr. Black. He’s a teacher.

2. Teach student in the same way.

3. Practice new words.

Teacher, teacher, I’m a teacher.

Student, student, I’m a student.

4. Present Come in/ I’m sorry./ It’s OK.

One student is late. The teacher ask him to come in after he gets into the class, he said to the teacher I’m sorry. T responds, It’s OK.
