Introduce: farm This is Old MacDonald’s farm. (What’s Old MacDonald?) He’s a farmer. Introduce: farmer Sing a song. Ask: What animals has Old MacDonald got? How many ducks / cows…? Read and write. Play the cassette and have the students sing along. |
(Look at page 36) This is Old Mac Donald’s farm. Write farm on the board. Play the cassette Students listen and follow in their books. Work in twos. Put a tick for a true statement and a cross for a false statement when they listen to the song again. Play the cassette again. Listen and decide whether the statements are true or not. |
