2.教学目标:

(1)能听、说、读、写四会词句型:Are there any...in the…? Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.并能在实际情景中灵活运用。

(2)能运用There be句型描述城市和乡村。

(3)培养学生热爱大自然,热爱生活,强化保护环境的思想意识和道德情操。

二.教学重难点

教学重点:

1.掌握四会句型。

2.用There be句型描述城市和乡村

教学难点:

1.理解fish的复数形式。

2.掌握no等同于not any

课前准备:

教学过程

一。 Warm-up & Revision

1. Let’s chant(P68)

E.g. The grass is green.

课前先播放一个节奏感很强的chant,既可以让Ss热身,也可以帮助Ss为下面对话的阅读学习做一定的铺垫。

2. A guessing game

Show two pictures (75)。 Then ask Qs and let Ss guess which picture it is.

通过精彩游戏既可以帮助Ss复习相关知识,又可以帮助Ss提前感受阅读课文的大概内容。

二.Presentation & Practice

1. Scanning

Give Ss 1 minute to scan the text, underlining the key words and tell: What are they talking about?

培养Ss浏览的阅读技巧。

2. Full reading

(1)。 Ask Ss to read this dialogue and finish the sentences.

(2)。 Check the answers.

(3)。 Ask Ss to read the text again and then think about some general questions(一般疑问句)。

There be句型的复数形式的一般疑问句:

Are there any… in the…?

Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.

(4)。 Check the answers. Teach there are no tall buildings.

no = not any

培养Ss细节阅读的技巧,重点掌握关于there be句型的复数形式的一般疑问句用法。

(5)。 Encourage Ss to read the dialogue follow the radio and then give Ss 1min to read the dialogue with their partners.

(6)。 Role play

Ask several pairs of Ss to role play.

3. Post-reading

(1)。 Suppose Ss are Sarah and Chenjie. Say something about their village.

(2)。 Have a debate

Retell Ss the teacher wants to build a house. Let Ss give some ideas. Have a debate: The teacher should build a house in the village or in the city. Divide the class into 2 groups: in the village and in the city. Encourage the Ss to discuss in their group, and write some useful words or sentences on the debate paper.

通过有趣的辩论形式,既可以帮助Ss积极思维综合运用所学的知识,又可以培养Ss之间的合作意识和合作能力,培养团队精神。

三.Consolidation & Extension

1. Write a letter

Ask Ss to write a suggestion letter according to the debate. Giving instructions and Ss begin to write. Invite some Ss to share their written work in the class. Correct the mistakes. Ask Ss to correct each other’s letter.

2. Pair work (P75)

Look at the pictures and using the sentences: Are there any…in…? Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.
