一、教学背景
1、面向学生：小学 2、学科：英语 3、课时：第1课时 4、学生课前准备： （1）预习单词，了解单词的意思和发音。 （2）学生利用已有的网络搜索能力在百度上搜索并整理各个职业的相关知识。
二、教材分析
本单元是广东省教育厅编写的《开心学英语》四年级下册Book 4 Unit11 I’m a doctor.这个单元主要是学习关于职业的单词、短语和句型。本单元设计为三个课时，以下是第一课时的教学设计，课型是词汇、句型新授课。
三、教学内容
（1）Book Four Unit11 P56 Vocabulary的单词和词组：taxi driver, fire fighter, police officer, office worker, secretary, doctor, nurse, teacher.
（2）Book Four Unit11 P56 Target句型：What do you do? I’m a …。What do you want to be? I want to be a …
四、教学目标
1、 认知目标：
①能听、说、读、写单词teacher, doctor, nurse, police officer, office worker, taxi driver, fire fighter, secretary
②会正确运用句型What do you do? I’m a/an ... What do you want to be? I want to be a/an...
2、技能目标：
①能够正确理解、运用所学的单词和句型描述自己的现任职业和理想职业；
②能用新的句型描述他人的现任职业和理想职业，达到新旧知识的结合。
3、情感目标：
①激发学生学习英语的兴趣，积极参与课堂活动，能够大胆地用英语表达自己；
②告诉学生每份职业都是伟大的，要为自己的理想努力奋斗。
五、教学重点
学习本课的单词doctor , nurse, teacher, taxi driver, fire fighter, secretary, office worker, police officer以及Target 里的句子和句型。
六、教学难点
熟练运用所学的单词及句型进行问答对话。

Step1: Warming up
Get greeting with the Ss.
Step 2: Revision
1、T: I’m a teacher. What do you do?
S1: I’m a student.
（Teaching aims： 复习相关的重点句型，为新课内容作好铺垫。）
2、T: Are they students? Ss: No！
（Teaching aims：引出情景故事，为新单词的学习做好铺垫。）
Step 3: Presentation
1、Lead in: The three people are waiting at the bus stop. The taxi is coming. They get on the taxi. And they go. But, do you know what happened ? Ss: No！
T: Ok！ Now let’s listen to the story！ （播放Photo story: A taxi is fire）
