本文中的女士爱狗心切，将狗带入普通医院就诊，将医生吓了一跳。当然，该女士的做法不恰当，应引导学生正确理解课文的意思。
发展目标：
1.学习、运用表示地方、场所的单词来对社区内的设施作介绍。
2. 学会运用句型What"s wrong?和What"s wrong with ?询问突发事件或表示对别人的关切。
3. 补充更多有关疾病的单词，让学生能自如地表达自己关于疾病与健康的想法。
4.了解英语单词honey的更多用法。
能力目标:
能用简单的英语介绍自己居住的小区。
