Step 1: Pre- learning

1、Greeting.

2、Sing a song: Is this a dog?

Step 2: Review

⑴Use the PPT to review the words and sentences.

T: Look at this picture. Is this a tiger?(Show out the picture of a lion.)

S: No, it isn’t. It’s a lion.

T: Is this an elephant? (Show out the picture of a hippo.)

S: No, it isn’t. It’s a hipoo.

T: Is this a dog? (Show out the picture of an elephant.)

S: No, it isn’t. It’s an elephant.

T: Repeat the answer and read “an” loudly. I s this a cat (Show out the picture of a cat.)

S: Yes, it is.

T: Is this a bird? (Show out the picture of a duck.)

S: No, it isn’t. It’s a duck.

Teacher let students read above words together.

⑵Play a guessing game.

1.让一位学生背对黑板面对同学,用Is this a …?猜后面呈现的动物,其他学生用No, it isn’t. It’s a whale.或 No, it isn’t.告诉这位同学的判断结果。

2.请一位同学出来点按投影片,其他同学用Is this a …?猜,该同学进行判断。

3.老师用竞猜的方法引出panda

Is this a …? It’ s panda.

Step 3: Learning

T: Panda, p- /p/- panda.(Write P on the blackboard)

S: Panda, p- /p/- panda.

T: Spell it.(teacher writes it on the blackboard while the students spell it.) P for panda.

S: P for panda.

S: p- /p/- panda(read them one by one--- read them together)。

*Teacher shows the picture of piano.Use the same way to teach /p/.

*教师指着p- /p/- panda和p- /p/- piano,带领学生一起读。

②Teacher shows the picture of a rabbit.

T: rabbit - r - /r/- rabbit.

③Teacher uses the same way to teach “rice”。

T: Look at the picture.(Show the flash)。Let students read after it.

Step 4 After-learning

① Teacher shows the chant let students read after him.

② Students look and read the chant for 3 times.
