教学目标 ：
1．知识目标
学习单词： believe, lucky, bamboo, CD-ROM, copy, fantastic
学习句子：Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo. The snake thinks the flute is another snake！ So it copies the other snake. 2．技能目标
能听说读写所学的六个新单词。
能运用所学句型对自己所了解的动物进行简单的描述。
3．情感目标
培养学生的交流与自主合作能力；培养学生热爱动物、保护动物、珍爱生命的意识。
教学重点：
学习单词believe, lucky, bamboo, CD-ROM, copy, fantastic及句子：Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo. The snake thinks the flute is another snake！ So it copies the other snake.
教学难点：
单词fantastic的读写及运用所学的知识对动物进行简单的描述。
教具准备：
单词卡、图片、句子卡片、课件等。
学生分析：
本班为六年级的学生，他们对英语学习有较浓厚的兴趣，上课积极主动，活泼大胆，乐于表现。多数学生除了课堂上的学习英语之外，还参加课外的英语辅导班的学习。而且对六年级学生来说，他们以前已学过许多的动物名称，也能用英语对动物进行简单的描述，这为本课的学习打下了基础。
教学过程：
一、 Warming up
1.Free talk. （师生问候）
2. Sing a song and revision. （PPT2呈现歌曲内容）
唱完后，以师生互问的形式复习动物的名称
（1）T: Do you like dogs? Do you like monkeys? What animal do you like? What’s your favorite animal? Step2 Presentation 1. Learn the new words: believe, lucky. Learn the new sentence: I don’t believe it. 1）Play a game ——
Bingo. （PPT3依次呈现：panda, bird, cat, dog, snake, elephant, fish, rabbit, monkey图。）引出单词lucky, believe的教学及操练。
（2）教学句子I don’t believe it. T: Now listen and say quickly. If I say I don’t believe it. You should say I believe it.（老师脸上伴随着表情带领学生玩二至三遍。）
3．揭示课题：Module 7 Unit 1 I don’t believe it. 3. 听录音初步感知课文内容，引出有关panda, snake的教学。
4. Learn the new words: bamboo, fantastic. Learn the new sentence:Pandas love bamboo. （PPT5出示panda图）
教师提示学生尽量说出更多的关于熊猫的句子。
T: What does it like to eat? 若有学生回答
Bamboo. 表扬说：You’re fantastic. 引出bamboo, fantastic的教学。
出示卡片bamboo，fantastic, 进行分音节教学，难点在于单词的重音。此后在教学的过程中，教师不断用fantastic进行表扬，
并展开小组间的竞赛。
设计意图：活泼的歌曲、师生间充满热情地交谈，拉近了彼此的距离，
也为学生营造了浓厚的英语氛围。再以师生互问的形式复习了动物名称，为本课的学习做了铺垫。
设计意图：运用多媒体展示动物可爱的画面，并以游戏的形式引入新知，激起学生的兴趣，调动了他们的积极性。同时为学生提供一种真实的英语交际情境。
设计意图：通过教师的引导，请学生看图用英语进行描述，最大限度
地训练了学生的口语能力。在单词教学中渗透语音教学，有利于培养他们的自学能力。此外，把难点的新词fantastic做为教师的课堂用语对学生不断
地鼓励，增强了他们学好英语的自信心。
5. T: Pandas like to eat bamboo. And sometimes they eat fish, birds, flowers and so on. So we can also say pandas love bamboo. 出示句子卡片Pandas love bamboo.进行教学。
6.（学习课外知识）学生自由起立发言说panda。
7. Learn the new word: copy . Learn the new sentences: The snake thinks the flute is another snake. So it copies the other snake！
（PPT6 出示snake图）引导学生看图描述，引出句子The snake thinks the flute is another snake.与It copies the other snake！的教学并操练。
教学单词
copy时，重点引导学生说出copy与copies不同点。
二、To learn the text
1．听课文录音，回答下列问题
（PPT7出示）
Who gives Daming a present? What’s the present? How long do pandas eat a day? What do they love? Can snakes hear？
2．T: Now open your books. Find the answers in a group of four. 随着学生的回答（PPT7）
依次呈现答案，引出Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. Snakes can’t hear.教学并练说。
3. （PPT8呈现课文内容）
再听录音跟读重点句型。
4. Read and complete the text. （PPT9）飞入单词，学生齐读：says, eat, live, look at, think, believe, lucky, bamboo, CD-ROM, copies, fantastic. （PPT10）呈现课文内容的填空题，学生独立完成，然后集体订正。
设计意图：听录音为学生提供了准确、地道的语言模仿渠道，跟读有
助于培养语感。通过小组合作，引导学生自主阅读课文，培养阅读能力的同时，学生体验到了合作的喜悦。
三、 Consolidation and extension
1. 小组活动——猜一猜。
全班分为6个小组，教师出示图片pandas, elephants, monkeys, cats, dogs, birds，每组请一位学生从中各抽取一张，不能让其他组学生看到。小组合作谈论、描述该动物的特征，一分钟后，请各小组分别汇报，其他学生猜出动物名称，最先猜到的为胜。
2. 结束后，教师说
There are many animals in the world. They are so cute. We all love them. They are our friends. We share the same home land. So we must protect them. Do you think so? Step5 （PPT12呈现）。
四、Homework .
1. Listen to the tape and read the text.
2. Copy the new words and sentences.
3. Write about your favourite animals.
