Play a game.“Show me”

教师提前把全班学生分成五个小组并给他们起上好听的名字如:chicken组 、duck 组 、 sheep组 cow 组和

cat组等。学生认真听老师的命令,如果听到自己手中的单词就迅速举起来,那一组的同学举得快就奖给他们组一个toy animal.

T:Show me a duck. Show me a chicken. Show me a pair of pants.

[设计理念:学生卡片是英语教学的一个很好的辅助教具,但我们在平时使用的不多,我想通过这个游戏来复习一下动物和衣服为第二部分的歌曲做铺垫。]

Step2.Presentation

教师手拿手偶让学生摸一摸小猫的毛、爪子和尾巴引出fur paws 和 tail。

T:Touch it. It's soft.It's my fur. fur fur fur

S: fur fur fur

T: A cat has fur.

S: A cat has fur.

T:What else has fur?

S: A dog has fur. A rabbit has fur.

(paws和tail的教法同上)

[设计理念:本课的唯一一个句子A cat has fur paws and a tail对于四年级的孩子来说比较长,所以我把这个句子拆成三个短句A cat

has fur. A cat has paws.A cat has a tail.来讲,短句会了以后那个长句子就不成问题了。]

Step 3.Read and  listen

Watch TV . Read after it and spell after it.

[设计理念:通过听、看、读和拼写调动学生多种感官来学英语,提高学生的综合语言运用能力。]

Step4.Practice

Play a game “Happy face ,Sad face.”

T: Does a duck have paws?

S:Sad face.

T:Does a rabbit have fur?

S:Happy face.

[设计理念:通过这个游戏来拓展一下本课以外的相关知识。给答案前让学生讨论体现了小组合作学习。]

Step5.Sing a song

T: Today we have a clothes show at the zoo.Let's look and listen first.

T:What did you see?

S:我看见在星期天的早晨一只狗戴着一顶紫色的帽子。

老师教唱前三段后让学生跟电视唱。

学会后给学生几分钟的时间让学生表演这首歌,表演好的给予奖励。

[设计理念:歌曲教学也是英语教学的重要部分,我采用了先让学生听曲调带学生读歌词然后才教唱的步骤。表演歌曲锻炼了学生的表演能力。]

1.Draw a cat and write down fur paws and tail.

2.Sing the song for your parents.
