3. 初步掌握四会句型What’s in/on/near … ? There’s a /There are some … in/on/near … ,并获得运用所学语言进行交际的能力。

重难点: 初步掌握句型What’s in/on/near … ? There’s a /There are some … in/on/near … , 并能够交际运用。

1. T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m Amy. Nice to meet you. 很高兴能和大家共同学习第八单元 。

a. Look at this picture. Can you tell me what place it is? 你能猜出是哪里 吗?(停顿)Yes. You’re right. It’s a sitting room. Look at the sitting room. What’s in the sitting room? 起居室里有什么? (屏幕显示句型) Look! There’s a sofa. And there’s a TV. (屏幕显示句型:There’s a sofa. There’s a TV. ) “There’s “ means “有”。是There is的缩略形式。Now, follow me. 跟我读(教师带读)。There’s a sofa in the sitting room. And there’s a TV in the sitting room.起居室里有一张沙发,起居室里有一台电视。(屏幕显示句型:There’s a sofa in the sitting room. There’s a TV in the sitting room.) 坐在起居室的沙发上看电视一定很舒服吧。Do you watch TV? (屏幕显示:watch TV. )”Watch” means “观看”。Now, follow me, please. 请跟我读(教师带读,强调watch的发音)。Do you watch TV? Sometimes I watch TV in the sitting room? (屏幕显示:sometimes有时. ) “Sometimes” means “有时”. Now, Read after me, please. (教师带读)

b. T: OK. 让我们来看另一张图片。What’s this? We can play the piano. 我们能弹钢琴。We can sing songs.我们能唱歌。We can play music in it. 我们能在里面演奏音乐music。(屏幕显示:music音乐) What is it? Yeah. You’re right. It’s a music room. c. Now let’s look at the next picture. What place? Yeah, a library. What’s in the library? There are some bookcases in the library. .”Bookcase” means “书橱,书架”. Read after me, please.(教师带读bookcase和句型)And there are lots of books in the library. “Lots of ”means “许多”. (屏幕显示: lots of许多)Follow me, please. (教师带读lots of和句型)

d. OK. The last picture. We can see some desks and chairs in it. What place is it? Yes. It’s a classroom. (屏幕显示: classroom) Read after me, please. 2. T: Wow, it’s a big and nice classroom, isn’t it? Whose classroom is it? You know? It’s Ben’s. 今天Ben的学校里来了很多老师和学生,因为今天是Ben的学校的open day。(PPT显示词组)”Open day” means “开放日”. Follow me, please. (教师带读)Ben正在给他的朋友介绍他的教室呢。你们想不想去看看? OK. Let’s go.

(本步骤设计说明:本课句型There be 结构是学生学习的难点,教师通过四幅与课文相关的地点图片,并以游戏的形式让学生猜一猜,在增强教学的趣味性的同时,将课文中的重难点较为直观地呈现给学生,并将课文中出现的生词渗透在四幅图片逐一化解。)

第二步:课文学习

2.(镜头转向老师)T: 还记得Ben是怎样介绍自己教室的吗?(停顿)Good. This is our classroom. (出示单词卡片:our) What does “our” mean? (停顿)Yeah, clever! It means “我们的”. Follow me, please. (教师带读)Yeah. It’s big and bright, Right? (出示单词卡片:bright)”Bright” means “明亮的”. Now, follow me, please. (教师带读bright, It’s big and bright.)What’s in Ben’s classroom? And What’s in Ben’s friend’s classroom? Let’s listen and watch again.

4. T: Have you got the answer? What’s in Ben’s classroom? There’s a TV in Ben’s classroom, right? Sometimes they watch TV in class. (显示词组:in class在班上)”In class” means “在班上”. (教师带读)What’s in Ben’s friend’s classroom? Ben的朋友的教室里又有什么呢?Can you answer?(停顿)Great. There’s a blackboard. There are some bookcases. 介绍完教室之后, Ben又给他的朋友介绍了哪里呢? Let’s go on to have a look.

What about the library?

Question 2: What’s in the library? (停顿)There are lots of books, right? Anything else? (停顿)Great, There are some computers, too. (显示单词:computer电脑)”Computer” means “电脑”. Follow me please. (本步骤设计说明:本部分通过观看课文动画,让学生跟着Ben一起参观校园的形式,激发学生的好奇心,分段呈现和学习了课文,并通过问答的形式又再次巩固重点句型,化解难点。这样的处理方式有利于分散课文的教学难点,让学生学起来更轻松自然些。)
