l Ask individual Ss to answer.

l T: Now let’s listen to the tape.

l Play A, then pause tape.

l T: Does she like listening to music, (S1’s name)? S1: Yes she does.

l T: Circle the correct answer.

Look and write

l Hold up one of the picture cards 31-60.

l Ask individual Ss to make sentences using the vocabulary.

l Repeat the procedure several times.

Using the book

l T: ( Hold up your book and point to the first picture.) Look at picture 1. What are they doing? Ss: They’re playing cards.

l Point to the answer in the crossword puzzle.

l Have Ss complete the puzzle.

l T: Can you find the hidden word? Ss: Restaurant.
