教材分析:

本课是新标准英语(一起点)第五册第十模块第一单元。本课主要学习如何讨论将来要做的事情。主要练习了一般将来时时态。

教学目标:

1、知识目标:能够掌握重点单词: Hong Kong, sea, airport.

能够掌握重点句型: Are you going to go to Hong Kong? Yes, I am. / No, I’m not. What are you going to do? I’m going to swim in the sea.

2、能力目标:能用Are you going to …?

以及What are you going to do?来对他人将要做到事情提问,并且在别人询问自己时能做出正确的回答。

3、情感目标:培养学生做事情之前做好打算以及做事情一定要认真细心的习惯。

培养学生良好的提问回答意识。

教学重点:

对句型 What are you going to do? I’m going to …的掌握。

教学难点:

能熟练运用所学语句进行交流,并能在真实的语境中运用。

CD-Rom, word cards, PPT.

教学过程:

Step 1: Greeting and Warming up ( 师生问候与热身)

1、Greeting (师生问候) T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon, Miss He.

【设计意图】:师生间相互问好,介绍评价机制,全班分为两个大组进行奖励评价,同时与个人奖励评价相结合,最终哪个组得到的笑脸多哪个组即为获胜组。

2、Warming up(热身): To say a chant(唱韵律诗) Play, play, play basketball Eat, eat, eat an apple Ride, ride, ride my bike Do, do, do my homework Watch, watch, watch TV Swim, swim, swim in the sea

【设计意图】:通过朗朗上口的说唱加上动作,使学生快速投入英语学习氛围,激发学习兴趣,同时渗透本节课句型。

Step 2: Presentation(学习新知)

1、Leading in (导入) To tell Ss I am going to play basketball at this weekend and ask them “Are you going to „„” to practice sentence structure “Are you going to „„” “Yes, I am./No, I’m not.”

【设计意图】:巩固旧知,导入新课,为即将进行的新课讲授做铺垫。

2、New Words (学习新单词) Learn the new words when teacher and Ss are talking about the winter holiday plans.

【设计意图】:通过师生谈论寒假计划引出新单词Hong Kong和airport,再通过开火车读、集体读、大小声读等各种游戏方式学习新单词。在句子中学习新单词,达到“词不离句”的效果。

3、Text Learning (学习课文)

(1)Listen to the tape and answer two questions: Where is Xiaoyong going to go? What is Xiaoyong going to do?

【设计意图】:通过听录音初步感知课文,然后带着问题再次听课文,进一步加深对文本的认识。

(2)Listen to the tape again, And ask Ss to read after the tape. Answer another two questions: Where is Sam going to go? What is Sam going to do?

【设计意图】:学生听录音跟读、模仿,有助于学生标准语音、语调的形成,同时更进一步加深对课文的整体感知和理解。

(3) Ask Ss to think that why Sam can’t swim in the sea. Then let Ss know people should be careful. Learn an English saying: A miss is as good as a mile.(失之毫厘,差之千里。)

【设计意图】:对学生进行及时的情感教育,教育学生做事情之前要做好打算,同时做事情一定要认真、细心。

Step 3: Practice(练习)

Let Ss do the exercises of Activity Book on Page 39.

【设计意图】:学习完课文之后及时跟进练习,巩固所学课文。

Step 4: Consolidation(巩固)

Let Ss practice the dialogue in groups. Then ask some pairs to act it out.

【设计意图】:学生台前展示,既可以锻炼学生的口语表达能力,又体现出学生的主体性。

Step 5: Extension(拓展)

Let Ss talk about their winter holiday plans with partners. Then ask some pairs to show the plans.

【设计意图】:让学生把自己的寒假计划列出来,把所学知识与实际生活联系起来,达到英语生活化的目的,更加激发学生学习英语的兴趣与热情。

Step 6: Summary and Homework (总结与作业布置)

1、Summary:(总结) What have you learned? Who is the winner?

【设计意图】:通过师生回顾本节课所学知识,及时总结,进一步强化重点,加深学生的理解和记忆。并评出获胜的小组,使学生体验到成功的乐趣。

2、Homework:(作业)

(1)、Recite the dialogue.(背诵课文。)

(2)、Write down your winter holiday plans you just talking about.(把与朋友讨论的寒假计划写出来。)

【设计意图】:作业的布置让学生更加深入的感知理解课文,同时把所学知识与实际生活联系起来,有助于学生英语兴趣的培养。
