教学目标：
本课书初步接触What are these?这一句型，学习用Are they ducks? No．They are swans．
询问并回答，能结合已学知识使回答更全面。
重点难点：
Are these / those … ? Yes, they are ./ No,they aren’t.
教法学法：
利用探究式教学法，培养学生的发散思维和创新能力。利用情景模仿以及角色表演等方法激励学生在生活情景中灵活运用功能语句。
教学准备：
Pictures and tape recorder.
教学过程：
1、热身 / 复习（Warm-up / Revision）
1）复习上节课所学童谣。
2）教师出示图片，学生能够迅速用Shall we go to .... I want to go to .... 和Why not go to .... 三种句型说句子。
【设计意图】通过课前的热身活动，调整先生的思维，让他们快速地融入英语课中来，调动学习爱好，为本课教学创造积极条件，也为新课的教学做好铺垫。
2、新课导入（Presentation）
1）教师拿出动物园的图片，对学生们说Why not go to the Beijing Zoo? 出示动物玩具，边做手势边说Come along, boys and girls．Look at the giraffes！ 反复强调复数。找一部分学生重复这句话，然后指着另一种动物，只说前半句，让同学说出完整句子（此时玩具中不要出现鹅），帮助学生从模仿过渡到运用。
2）教师指着长颈鹿说Wow！ They are so tall．Look, they have long necks．And they have long legs．并借助手势帮助学生理解句意。特别要强调They have.... 及long legs和long necks。
3）让学生用自己的玩具说出They have long / short necks / legs．完成操练。
4）教师先出示一只鹅，对学生们说I have a goose．再拿出一只，说I have two geese．又拿出第三只，说I have three geese．体现单复数有区别。然后对学生们说Come and look．What are these? Are they ducks?学生们会说No．教师继续说No, they aren't．They are geese．再次强调复数的读音。请学生重复教师的句子，完成操练。
5）教师出示几只天鹅的图片，请学生仔细观察鹅与天鹅的区别。教师可以指着天鹅问Are these ducks? 学生们会自然地说出No, they aren't．重复几遍后再说出swans。
6）把这三种动物放在一起，与学生们做问答，进行操练。
7）借助图片和玩具，进行词汇duck和goose教学。
8）根据教师出示的玩具进行问答练习，如Are they... ? No, they aren't． / No, they are....。
3．趣味操练（Practice）
根据教师的指令模仿某种动物特有的动作或形体。
