Lesson 14

一、教学目标：

1. 情感目标：

了解不太熟悉的一些动物 ，使孩子们有个初步的认识。了解他们的特点。

2. 知识目标：

(1) 能够听说读写本课的动物名称 。

(2) 能够正确适用本课的句型，谈论一些动物的种类及特点。

(3) 掌握句型 as …as 的用法。

3 能力目标：

（1）能够谈论动物的种类。

（2）能够填写动物卡片 。

二、教学重点：

1、词汇：hummingbird, centimeter , kilometer , giraffe 的发音，及书写。

2、句型：What kind of animal are … ? They are … .

They are a kind of … .

三、教学难点：

1、较难掌握的词汇。

2、用 as …as 句型结构来描述动物的某一特点。

四、教具准备：

录音机、磁带、 卡片 、图片

五、教学过程：

师生问答

1.Review :Show a picture ,and ask How many animals do you see in the picture ? what are they ?What kind of animal are they ?

Look at the picture , and answer the question .

2.Where do they live ?

They live on the land / in the water .

3.Practice the words and lead the students to read them .

Read the words after teacher .
