Step 1 Warming up

1. Greeting.

2. Sing the song Old MacDonald.

3. Review animals’ words.

Play a guessing game: Show each animals’ tails, ask Ss guess the animals.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Listen to a sound: What’s it?

Ss: It’s a cat.

T: Yes, It’s a cat.

T: Listen, what’s it now?

Ss: It’s a frog.

T: You’re right.

Show words’ cards, read words cat, frog.

2. Ask Ss do actions and say words.

S1: Meow, meow. I’m a cat!

S2: Croak, croak. You’re a frog!

3. Little teachers guide to read words and sentences.

4. Close books, listen to the tape of Part B and Part C, who can repeat it phrase by phrase.

1. Create situation and make dialogues.
