I. Warm-up exercise

Stand up and let’s do an exercise. Follow me, please.

Hands up, up up up.

Hands down, down down down.

Hands back, back back back.

The second time let’s do it very fast.

Now let’s do it three times: the first time do it slowly, the second time faster, the third time do it very fast.

II. Presentation.

OK. You did a good job. Do you like this exercise? What else do you like?

S1: I like books.

S2: I like school.

S3: I like football. …

Ask Ms Li this question: What do you like?

I like English. So I am an English teacher now. I can have English classes every day. How about you? What will you be in the future? (write this sentence on the blackboard)

Read future. Compare it with picture. Picture—future.

Since you not sure about your future, let’s answer it this way:

IV. Homework.

T: Now class look at this picture. Do you know who she is?

T: What’s her job? Is she a film star?

Ss: She is a writer.

T: Do you like her books?

Ss: Yes.

T: I like her books, too. She is my idol. Look at this passage.
