3、教学生词 near, behind，帮助学生理解它们的含义和用法。

教学过程：
Step 1 Warm up
1、 Greetings
2、 请学生手拿自绘的地图向全班同学作介绍：My home is on…。There is a …。
Step 2 Presentation
1、教师就热身活动中所用的地图进行师生问答
T: Where is your home? S1: It’s on …。 T: Is there a …？
（设计意图：鼓励学生用Yes/No来回答，同时教师用完整的句式来补充。向学生输入Yes, there is. No, there isn’t.）
2、教师出示自己家的地图介绍并询问
T:There is a park near my home. Is there a park near your home?
引导学生回答：Yes, there is. 或No, there isn’t.（设计意图：逐步输入
Is there....?句型的肯定及否定回答，再由学生输入。）
3、教师板书句型Is there…？ Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.并让学生跟读数遍。
4、教师继续介绍：There is a supermarket behind my home.教学生词behind。
5、出示Listen and Say的挂图，介绍并领读Garden Street, Brown Street, Park Street, Green Street
6、播放Listen and say 的录音，并出示问题
Where’s Jill’s home?Where’ Miss Fang’s home?学生听完录音后回答问题。
Step 3 Practice
1、全班学生跟读Listen and say的录音。
2、分角色朗读对话。
3、Pair wok：三个学生一组操练对话。
Step 4 Consolidation
1、学生做Do a survey，至少调查四名学生，询问对方家附近的场所，然后完成表格。
2、请个别学生上讲台汇报调查结果。
Step 4 Homework
1、熟读对话。
2、抄写本课重点句型：Is there a park near your home?
3、请学生绘制一张理想中的自己家附近的街区地图。
