1、掌握副词too和just 的含义;

2、熟练运用too和just 谈论事物。

教学重点:

熟练运用too和just表述某事物对自己是否合适。

教学难点:

感知句型“They are too small.”的结构。

教学准备:

各种尺码的衣服叵干件、教学磁带等。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up

1、师生问候。

2、自由会话。

T: Are the bull's horns are really goo big?

Ss: No , they aren't.

T: Why did the lion say that the bull's horns were too big?

Ss: Because the lion wanted to kill the bull.

3、复述课文A部分故事。

Step 2 Presentation and drill

课文D部分

1、情景引入,教学句型。

T:Yesterday was my birthday .My father/mother/husband/wife just came back from Beijing .He/She bought some clothes for me. Look, here they are.

(出示一件很大的衣服,穿在身上)Do you think it is OK for me? I don't think it is OK .I think it is too big for me .Do you think so?

板书句子“It is too big .”,帮助学生理解句意并带读。然后又拿出一件穿在身上。

T:Look! What do you think of this one?

Ss: It's too small.

T: Yes , I think so .I can't wear it .It is too small.(再拿出一件)Look at this one . What do you think of it?

Ss:It's OK.

T: This ong is just right for me .I like it.

板书句子“This one is just right for me.”

2、出示图片,操练单词pyiamas和jumper。

T:My father bought a pyjamas for my sister and a jumper for my brother . They are just right for them .They like them very much.

3、完成练习。

Step 3 Practice

1、让学生们依照“It is too big.”说句子。说得最多的评为“造句大王”。教师把学生所说的句子写在黑板上。

2、将黑板上的句子擦掉一部分,让学生们写出擦掉的句子。写得多的评为“超级记忆王”。

Step 4 consolidation

1、创设情景,自由会话。

情景:Miss Li到服装超市购物,她看中了一件套头毛衣和一条裤子。Miss Li 要售货员给她试一试大小。(学生表演所提供的情景,可适当发挥。)

2、评价。对学生的表演与表现给予肯定和鼓励,培养学生在情景中交际的能力。

3、练习。(见《练习册》P27)

4、家庭作业。
