一、教学目标

①知识目标:复习一般过去时态动词,过去式构成。

②能力目标:正确使用过去进行时态与一般过去时态

③情感目标:能用一般过去时态表达情感.

二、教学重难点:

过去进行时态与一般过去时态的区别与联系。

三、教学过程:

Step 1. Greetings

Step 2. Sing and song

Step 3. Activity

1. Have Ss look at the picture on the page. T: What happened? Let’s find out.

2. Have Ss read silently about the first girl.

3. Ask one student to read the passage. T: What did she lose? Ss: She lost her English book.Write the answer on the page.

4. Give Ss time to write.

5. Do the same for the second question.

6. Repeat the procedures for the other two passages.

Step 4. Sound and words

1. Have Ss look at the picture on the page. T: Let’s listen to the tape.

2. Play the tape and have Ss point to each word as the tape says it. T: Let’s listen again and this time .repeat.

3. Have Ss repeat after the tape.

4. After enough practice, point to the picture randomly and have Ss say the words.

5. T: Now it’s time to practice the sound in the chant. Let’s read the lyrics first.

6. Have Ss read the lyrics out loud. T: Can you find the words that end with? Circle them. Answer: hold fold

7. Do the same with the “nd” sound. Answer hands, band , land T:Now listen to the chant

8. Play the tape and have Ss chant together .T: Now listen and point to the picture.

9. Play the tape again and have Ss chant along and point to the pictures

2. Check the answer.
