教材分析：
本节课的教学内容是出自《新标准英语》（三年级起点）第一册Module4 Unit2，主要学习词汇cap、dog和cap，以及用句型“ It’s a ……．” 描述有颜色的动物或物品。
教学目标：
1.语言知识目标
（1）能听懂、会说、会本课的重点单词dog , cat ,cap；
（2）会运用本课的重点句型：It’s a ＋（表示颜色的单词）＋（表示物品的单词）。
2.语言能力目标：能用所学的句型描述身边物品的颜色。
3.情感目标：激发学习英语的兴趣；通过小组活动培养学生合作学习的意识。
教学准备：
多媒体课件；橘黄色的玩具小狗；红黄蓝黑的帽子各一顶；红黄蓝绿的圆磁铁4个；红黄蓝绿黑的手指小帽；小鼓；贴贴画。

一、Warming -up
1．Greetings.
T：Hello, boys and girls.

T: How are you ?
S: I’m fine,thank you.And how are you?

4、教师揭示评价方式。
教师把全班分成"red"、"yellow"、"blue"、"green"四个大组，并用相应颜色的圆形磁铁代表本组的笑脸贴在黑板上，表现好的一组可以获得一根头发，比一比哪组获得的头发多。

游戏说明
1.教师准备了两个盒子，一个装有颜色单词卡，一个装有物品单词卡片。
2.两名学生任意抽取一张卡，并读出单词。
3.最后所有同学一起说 It’s a ___ ___.
3.Listen and do！
Listen and colour.学生听录音，按顺序给图片选择颜色。
五、Development
1.Group work:
课件呈现九幅不同颜色的小狗、小猫、帽子的图片。学生四人一组用“It’s a …（颜色） …（物品）。”进行描述。也可以描述教室里或自己身边物品的颜色。比一比哪组说的句子最多。奖励说句子最多的一组和个人。
2.播放动画歌曲《A rainbow》，学生在歌声中结束本节课的学习。
六、Homework
Draw and say
画一样自己喜欢的动物或物品，然后用学过的颜色加以涂色，并用It's a ……。的句式向家人或朋友介绍。
