一,教学目标:

1 能听懂,会说,会读和会拼写单词和词组slow, low, late, be good at

2 能听懂,会说,会读单词和词组high, fast, late, early, far, well

3 能听懂,会说,会读和会拼写句型Ben runs faster than Jim.

4 能熟练掌握副词以及比较级的用法,并能在交际中口头运用副词比较级句型.

5 能初步理解A部分会话.

1 准备录音机和本课A部分的磁带.

四,教学过程:

A Free talk

Sing a song "I wish I was taller." Together.

B Presentation and practice

1 T: Well, look at me, whos taller than me

S: xxx is taller than you.

T: Yes, Im very tall, yes or no

Ss: Yes.

T: So Im good at running. (T does an action of running.)What about you What are you good at

S1: Im good at jumping.

S2: Im good at English.

S1: Im good at running.

T: You are good at running. Very good! But, I think I run faster than you. Do you believe

S1: Maybe, but I run faster than xxx.

S2: I run faster than xxx.

T在黑板上板书句型 xxx runs faster than me,并拿出卡片,学生跟读fast, faster

T: Look at this card, whos he

Ss: Mike.

T: Whos he

Ss: Wang Bing.

T: Who runs faster

Ss: Mike runs faster than Wang Bing.
