Diana: Hello, Mr. Sun! What are these (指着一堆桔子问)
Jack: They are oranges.
Diana: How many oranges do you have
Jack: I have eleven oranges.
Diana: What are those (指着远处的一群奶牛问)
Jack: They are cows.
Diana: How many cows
Jack: They’re twenty cows.
Diana: Are those frogs (指着一些青蛙问)
Jack: Yes, they are.
Diana: Are these pineapples (指着一堆菠萝问)
Jack: Yes, they are.
第二部分 课文讲解
A: What’s this (出示一个鸡蛋)
B: It’s an egg.
A: What are these (出示好几个鸡蛋)
B: 嗯 这该怎么回答呢 不能用It’s…了,因为它们已经多于两个了.
A: You can say " They are eggs."
B: Oh, I see. 这就是复数的问答形式,意思就是:这些是什么 它们是…. 对吧
A: Yes, you’re so clever. 另外还有What are those They are….表示那些是什么 它们是….These指稍近的东西,those指较远的东西.如果想要表达 "它们是…吗 "我们就可是说Are these/those… 用Yes, they are/No, they aren’t.来进行回答.如果我想问"那些是鸟吗 是的,它们是."怎么问答呢 你试试!

A: How many birds
B: One, two, three,four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen,fifteen, sixteen. Sixteen birds!
